Bonjour à vous tous,
Par notre ami Monsieur Rainer, nous savons que vous soutenez nos actions auprès des enfants handicapés de l’orphelinat de Phu My et à la ferme de Bao Loc.
Lundi de Pentecôte, Monsieur Rainer sera avec vous et par l’esprit je serai parmi vous à l’école Leibniz.
Votre aide et soutien pendant toutes ces années, nous a permis de faire tant de choses ; mieux alimenter, soigner, loger, éduquer les enfants……..
Aujourd’hui encore, votre aide nous permet d’accompagner les plus grands à mener une vie digne à la ferme de Bao Loc.
Quand Monsieur Rainer est venu nous visiter à l’orphelinat pour la première fois, la situation était si dramatique; qui aurait pensé que grâce à lui, grâce à vous, nous aurions pu aller si loin ensemble dans notre projet.
Qui aurait pu croire ou imaginer, que ces enfants handicapés, entassés dans des dortoirs malodorants, abattus et hagards, seraient, 22 ans plus tard, des parents qui ont une famille, une maison, un travail et une joie de vivre à toute épreuve.
Nous sommes si fières et heureuses de leur réussite, et vous devez être fiers et heureux avec nous ! Bien des choses n’auraient été possibles sans vous, c’est sûr !
Je suis loin, je ne vous connais pas, mais je pense à vous tous les jours ; tous les jours je rends grâce à Dieu, d’avoir mis sur le chemin de nos enfants orphelins, tant de gens généreux, prêts à les aider.
Pour cela et du fond du cœur je vous remercie. Que Dieu vous bénisse et vous accorde la joie, la santé et le bonheur de partager et d’aimer.

Jousi will go to the court session to offer this family some support for the support of Hellen. So lets see if we need some finantial assistance, after we have results from this two meetigns.

Just a few words to let you know that we did received your donation a last week. But we are really busy with all the preparations of Chinese new year for February 10th. So I totally forgot to write.

Nachhaltige Landwirtschaft für indigene Familien, Q`EQCHI im Tal ULPAN, Guatemala.
Ein neues Projekt für die territoriale Entwicklung in Guatemala soll in Angriff genommen werden: Nachhaltige Landwirtschaft für 150 indigene Familien Q`EQCHI im Tal ULPAN; Guatemala.
In den Kommunen San Pero Carchá, Cahabón, Chalhal und Lanquin, dem sogenannten „Korridor des Todes“ (höchste nachgeburtliche Müttersterblichkeit in Guatemala und zweithöchste in ganz Lateinamerika) soll ein Agrafond gegründet werden, mit dem Ziel, 150 indigene Familien in ökologische nachhaltige Landwirtschaft einzuführen, damit sie sich eines Tages selbst versorgen und evtl. Überschüsse weiterverkaufen können.

Hallo Freunde,
hier die Übersetzung des Briefes von Christian Aponte zum Jahresbericht über das „Institut Rainer“:
Liebe Familie Rainer,
Wir senden Euch die besten Wünsche zu Weihnachten und für das Jahr 2013.
Ich schreibe Euch diesen Brief, um mit Euch die Freude zu teilen über die Früchte der Arbeit des Instituts Rainer, die unjs dieses Jahr grosse Befriedigung gebracht haben.
Im Gegensatz zum Jahr 2011, wo 33 Schüler erfolgreich abgeschlossen hatten, waren es im Jahr 2012 immerhin 66, eine Verdoppelung.
Eine Folge besonderer Anstrengungen war auch, dass dieses Jahr 60% der ursprünglich eingeschrieben en Schüler erfolgreich waren im Gegensatz zu 2011 mit 49%. Eine Folge davon, dass nicht so viele Schüler im Laufe des Jahres ausgeschieden sind.Darin sieht man die gute Arbeit des „Institut Rainer“.
Es macht sich auch deutlich bemerkbar, dass sich immer mehr Schüler zu einem Studium im Institut Rainer anmelden. Jetzt im Dezember sind es schon mehr als 50.
Im vergangenen Jahr hatten wir zu diesem Zeitpunkt gerade einmal 12. Wenn man bedenkt, dass sich die meisten erst gegen Ende Januar berwerben, werden wir einen erheblichen Anstieg der Schülerzahlen in den nächsten beiden Jahren haben. Immer mehr Bewerber sehen im „InstitutRainer“ eine Einrichtung, in der zu studieren es sich lohnt.
In dem Dokument sind auch wieder verschiedene Fotos, die Eva Euch schickt als Dokumentatiuon der verschiedenen Aktivitäten.
Tausend Dank für Eure Unterstützung, die eine Hoffnung für das Leben dieser Jugendlichen bedeutet.Wir auf unserer Seite tun alles, dass diese Einrichtung mit jedem Jahr besser wird.

Querida familia Rainer:
Les enviamos nuestros deseos que esta Navidad sea llena de mucha bendición para su familia y que el 2013 traiga mucha alegría a su familia.
He querido tomar un tiempo para escribirles en este fin de año para compartir con ustedes los frutos del instituto Rainer que nos han dado mucha satisfacción este año. El año pasado 33 jóvnes ganaron el año, ahora son 66. El doble.
También se trabajo duro para evitar la deserción y la pérdida de año de los alumnos. En el año 2011 aprobaron el 49 % de los jóvenes inicialmente inscritos, este años, 2012, aprobaron el 60% de los que inicialmente se inscribieron, Aunque el porcentaje del 2012 fue afectadonegativamente por el abandono de 7 jóvenes de Lomas de Santa Faz, como un grupo extra de jóvenes que inscribimos con la ayuda de un profesor voluntario comenzó a tutorearlos, pero que no pudo continuar y los jóvenes se desanimaron y desertaron, esto afectó el porcentaje que muestra el buen trabajo de Eva en Casita Amarilla.
También vemos que más jóvenes están inscribiéndose en el instituro Rainer. Ahora en Diciembre ya se han inscrito más de 50 jóvenes. El año pasado a esa fecha solo había 12, ya que la mayoría se inscribían a última hora en Enero. Más jóvenes ven en el Instituto Rainer una institución donde estudiar.
En el documento hay varias fotos que Eva te envia y si deseas que se te envíen más grandes… me avisas.
Veran Rainer y Gaby que la mayoría de las inscripciones en el 2012 estuvieron ahora en el 1ero. Básico, por lo que vamos a tener un crecimiento importante en los proximos dos años.
Mil gracias por el apoyo de Uds. que le dan vida y una esperanza a estos jóvenes. Nos estamos esforzando para que el Instituto mejore año con año.
Con Rosi estamos descansando en la Antigua y esperando poderles ver uno de estos días de vuelta en Guatemala.

Estimados Gaby y Rainer y amigos de Alemania:
Quisiéramos compartir con Ustedes algunas fotos que les hemos tomado a los niños Cobar y la Cartita que ellos han escrito para Ustedes (Esta carta se las enviaremos también por correo). Nos alegra saber que los niños han aprobado su año escolar y que ahora se encuentran de Vacaciones y están ayudando a la Abuela.
El día de hoy le hemos entregado el cheque No. 329 por un valor de Q 3800 a la abuela de los niños, la Sra. Josefa Cobar, y nos hemos enterado a través de ella que la Sra. Waleska Cobar quien cuidaba a los niños ahora se encuentra detenida en la Carcel de Santa Teresa de Zona 18, de la Ciudad de Guatemala, quién fué sentenciada en el mes de Septiembre de este año con 5 años de prisión debido a que se le acusa de Trata de Personas.
Lamentamos esta situación principalmente por los niños; sin embargo actualmente están bajo el cuidado de la abuela y vamos a coordinar con Yousi, la Coordinadora de la Guardería para abrirles un espacio de atención para apoyarles en sus estudios el próximo año y para evitar la callejizacion de los niños.
